nice gun safe
My husband and I decided to keep our loaded hand gun in this safe by mounting it in our bedroom closet. It is easy to program and has easy access. We feel much safer in our home and the kids can't get to it because they don't know the code.

Instructions?
My only complaint is the instructions to open the safe were taped to the inside of the door, half the sheet of paper sticking out. Finally the sheet riped in half and we got enough info to find out how to get in.

Secure and small
For the price I got a secure but small safe. The electronic keypad is a plus but the hardware for attaching to a wall or anything else has much to be desired. The bolts were cheap so I used sturdier hardware. The safe housing is secure but not to thick and definitely not fireproof. It's a good safe to ensure valuable items will not be easily taken from the home, but I can see it being yanked from the frame its attached to. Better than hiding valuables where experienced thieves will eventually locate.

the power does not keep
there was a note to change the batteries right away, it then it worked for about an hour and then lost power again, very unsatisfied with the functionality

Safe
Ordered this small safe for my son and daughter-in-law. It arrived with scratches on the exterior. Son said the box was intact but the safe had obviously been out of the box. Obviously, the scratches do not deter from the integrity of the safe but I would've preferred it arrived unscratched.

Good sturdy safe. Easy lock system (just don't lose the keys like I did) big enough to hold important documents and reasonable amount of jewelry.
