Rotring Skynn Warm Red Rollerball Black Ink Pen

I got two of these for my pen loving husband a number of years ago. He loves them, has used many standard refills during that time, and is asking for more. His only complaint is that after all this time, the gel is getting icky and leaky. Well worth the price.

I would be disappointed if this pen cost me one dollar. I have a lot of pens, some cheap some expensive. I wanted a pen that would be comfortable to hold and can carry around with me but won't feel too bad if I lost it. Does not write smoothly (at all). Feels cheap and the ink skips. When I first received it, I was very disappointment with the quality. I threw it in my drawer to use (but not carry with me) as a spare. But today, it was the first pen I pulled out and decided to use it to take a few notes. I could not finish what I was doing. I am throwing it away. Can't figure out their justification for the price...
