I have used these pens (I have an assortment of them) and they are extremely durable and interesting looking. I get positive comments by my patients very often. The ink lasts Forever..actually about 4-6 months with daily use! The refills are pretty cheap, and one can use gel ink or regular ink. The gel ink runs out more quickly though. People are always asking where I got them...

It is impossible for this pen to get lost in bag. However, I was very disappointed that the ink did not last more than a day.

I wish it would have come in the original packaging. I have bought Rotring pens like this one from other sites and they came in Rotring boxes. This one came in a plain white pen box that was not right for the size for the pen. I am giving it as a gift and it would have been nice to have the right packaging.

i love these writing instruments - they are a good price and work very well, very durable.
