Regency Seating Mahogany Storage Buffet

I had a difficult time stating that I would recommend this to a friend, but let me justify my recommendation. Although there were problems with the order, the company did their best to make it right. They replaced the top (which had to cost more in shipping fees than the top itself cost), and they sent me a color pen to touch up the nicks in the veneer. Also, after looking for a cabinet that suited our needs for more than 3 months, I can definitely say that for the price this unit is unrivaled. It is far from "fine furniture", but is decent looking and very functional.

• How accurate was the sizing? The sizing was just as provided, although the description of the product is not as accurate as expected. For instance, there is reference to two drawers, which there are none.
• Please tell us about the quality of the product. This cabinet has a lot of potential, but the assembly documentation is absolutely terrible. Everything is done in pictures, without even a description of what screws are used where. Also, the locking pieces (twisted by a screw driver) are made of cheap pot-metal and I had one break inside of the fastening hole.
• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? There were several issues: 1) There was a huge gouge on the top that appears to have been created by a forklift - this could have been created either in their warehouse or in transit. 2) Both the top and bottom were warped, which made assembly very difficult. 3) Some of the veneer was uneven/bubbled.
