Parker 'Urban' Green-barrel Black Ink Ballpoint Pen

A very uniquely designed pen -- for Parker! Positively. I like it a lot. It has an abstract "dolphin" shape and sleek lines, with a metal bottom third and a resin barrel upper two thirds. It is a twist mechansim pen, as well as the way to insert refills. A little tricky there. It accepts both gel ink and the traditional Parker ballpoint. I use the ballpoint; I disliked the gel and have heard rumors of the gel's leaking. The pen writes smoothly and easily. It has a robust clip. But it is quite heavy to clip onto a shirt in my opinion; an inside jacket pocket, maybe? I use it in a pen sleeve in an attache. I have the green version; I also bought the black and blue versions as gifts. One caveat: this pen has heft. It is designed for someone with a big, strong hand. It feels comfortable in my hand and I can write for extensive periods of time with it. My wife hates it for the same factor. A minor shortcoming: unlike the traditional Paker "lush" colors, this "green" is an olive drab -- as opposed to the deep forest green of the Parker 45 Fountain Pen I also have.
