I have been searching for an affordable, attractive fountain pen for ages. This fits the bill. When it comes to writing, I prefer a smooth flow, and a gentle touch. This pen performs as well as pens 5 times as expensive, and uses the same cartridges. I'm thrilled.

The pen is attractive and writes smoothly. The nib is quite stiff, as is typical for a pen in this price range, but it writes very well. The only complaint I had is that there was some kind of residue on the pen where it was attached to its packaging, but that can be removed with a little effort. I am very pleased with the purchase; in this price range it is an excellent pen and I am happy I purchased it.

I had been looking for a fountain pen off and on for about a year but balked at the high price. I hadn't shopped in Overstock.com before but had browsed and decided to see if I could find an affordable pen. Lo and behold there was the Parker Reflex Blue Ink Fountain Pen! I decided to buy one based on the sole review at the time and it is all that the review stated. It writes smoothly, and you don't have to use pressure on the nib for the ink to flow. Before this pen I only used gel pens for the smooth ink flow but those are hit and miss at the best of times I am sticking with my fountain pen.
