The Jotter pen and pencil are amongst the nicest writing instruments I have the pleasure of using on a daily basis. The quality from inception to the UK manufactured pieces today are excellent. The control of the ink flow and paper friction are nearly perfect. It is hard to poorly write with these. I had not noticed these were even being made anymore until recently and remembered them from when I was a kid. I decided I'd buy one when I was one the road and needed something. I'd forgotten to take a pen from the office. I was more than impressed finding it better writing than pens I had spent as much as 10x for. I remember when these were somewhat expensive as pens go but today they are so inexpensive I can not imagine why anyone would invest in stick pens unless they need large quantities or very prone to losing them. There seem to be a couple of versions coming from the UK, The difference is the threaded piece on the cap to the lower barrel. Some are plastic and some are metal. No difference in feel or looks.

I received this set very quickly. They write well but the the lower part of the black plastic barrels were scratched making them look used. I ordered them for my husband to use at work with his okay because he knows the Parker brand. I'll be keeping them for myself and buy another brand locally.

My husband and I searched everywhere for a pen and pencil set for our son to use at work. It needed to be nice, but not showy. This item was exactly what he needed and at a great price! Thanks.

They looked cheap and the packaging looked old and used. I considered returningthem, but am not that type of person.
