When I decided to order the remanufactured cartridges I had read some of the recepients were not happy with their purchase. Because of this I tried all 5 cartridges immediately and, guess what, I now have good color for the first time in months! I have put my extra cartridges in plastic bags and am keeping them in a cool dark place. Thank you.
I purchased these refurbished ink cartridges and from the beginning the print quality was very bad. There's a line thru all the words where the ink doesn't print and it makes it hard to read the text. IAnd the ink is so light that half the time I have to "bold" everything in order to read it clearly. t's not my printer because it was just fine before I used these cartridges. I purchased these in February 2009 and here it is in September and I've gone thru all 3 black cartridges. When I had purchased original HP cartridges, one cartridge would last me at least 6 months. I would not recommend wasting your money on these. Unfortunately, I now have to buy more ink cartridges and the money I so called "saved" is now costing me more in the long run. I guess the saying is true that you get what you pay for. And I got junk!
The first color and first B&W Cartridge did not work at all. The second color and black and White I installed worked ok. The Third B&W cartridge is sill in the original packaging. May too late for me too meet the ruturn policy - past the thirty day.
As ever, the service from Overstock is great. The cartridges, however, you have to take a chance on. At times, the ink isn't coming out in a true color, but no one can predict that, and it happens now and then, much to the buyer's disappointment. That should not mean that one can't order the cartridges and use them well.
I thought I would be saving money, but found that I was wasting it... neither of the color cartridges worked. One had pink only...... the other had nothing. It was very disappointing. This was the first and LAST time I buy refilled cartridges.
