This item arrived in a shredded USPS tyvek envelope -- should have used the box for more protection, but it came through fine. It works well on the laundry room door where we hang wet things to air dry, and it seems to hold heavy wet items well. A note of caution -- can't leave it in down position if you want to leave the door open -- the hanging part may bang against the wall. It might break if one bangs it hard enough against the wall. It might be a better design to have that piece have a rubber tip to protect it from the wall, or the wall from it, as the case may be. It does what we need it to do -- give us a drying rack for shirts we don't heat-dry. I like the adjustable width to make it snug over the door -- since the laundry room door is a little thicker than the standard interior door (it leads to the garage) that helps.

• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? Yes, but the shipping package was damaged. Should refrain from using USPS soft packaging and use box instead. I was lucky the items weren't destroyed as the envelope was shredded.
