Not very sturdy
I purchased this stand as a mini standing desk so that I can stand up while I am reading documents. I found the stand to not be sturdy at all, so I can't lean on it to write. The stand was also missing a screw. I would have preferred to pay more for a better quality stand.

Great product!
If you are looking for a great classroom lectern that is lightweight and attractive, look no further. For the price, this is the best one for the money. It is not incredibly designed to handle a great deal of abuse, but if you take care of it, it should take suit your needs admirably. It looks very classy and is available in a variety of colors.
