overall this seems to be a nice chair. we only put it together yesterday, so durability is yet to be tested. it could be a little larger in the seat area as it does seem a little narrow compared to the chair that it replaced. also, is it really leather? The material has the feel of faux leather and does not have that distinctive leather smell, however for the price it is ok.all parts were enclosed and the delivery time was excellent. Customer service communication was also excellent.

I am very happy with this purchase. I spend hours at my computer and comfort is very important. This chair is very, very, comfortable. Good quality leather. Assembly is easy but needs a second person. Minor problem in the scheme of things.

I was looking for a chair to ease the pain in my irritated lower back. This chair has solved the problem beautifully. I work from this chair and don't suffer the lower back pain I previously endured from my old chair. Highly recommend for anyone who needs lumbar support. It also has nice seat cushioning as well.

I've been having problems with neck and upper back pain at work from an incorrect computer setup and decided to buy ergonomic equipment at home also. This chair is Wonderful! What a difference a nice quality chair makes. It has a high back, so I can rest my upper back and is very easy to adjust the different knobs (chair tilt, chair back, height and elbow rests). I bought the black color and the padding of the chair is very comfortable. It was not hard for me to put together...the chair stand plastic pole cover I had to fiddle with a bit, but other than that no other problems. I would definitely recommend this chair.

I have a chair like this at work, and I am so thrilled to have one now for my home office. I spend a lot of time at the computer and comfortable seating is very important. I just put the chair together and it was not at all as difficult as some of the reviews led me to believe. Anyway, it is worth a few minutes of concentration to get so much comfort. I love how the chair reclines and tilts, goes up and down and has comfortable adjustable arm rests. I am going to look forward to doing work at my desk now! I think everyone should have this chair, although I am a tall guy and so it may not be the best for a small person.

Great chair for the price. Has all the features you may need. We purchased three of these a few yrs ago and just recently purchased another one for our office. It has many options for adjusting the seating and the arms are great if you spend a lot of time at the computer. Good quality--doesn't look cheap. After a couple of years, one of the well-used arms is starting to crack on one of the chairs. I recommend using leather wipes every once in a while.

It took awhile to put together, but the chair is very comfortable and very stable. Well worth the money.

My only disdain for this product was its assembly instructions. There are approximately 20 parts that need to be handled and the instructions showed the chair completed in three pictures. You can imagine how often I squinted to see the tiny line that showed where all 6 screws were supposed to go. Still, I had deductive reasoning on my side, so even though the pictures show the seat of the chair to be bi-symmetrical (which it isn't), it only took a little trial and error to figure out which way the gas mechanism (with adjustable pedals) is connected.Aside from horribly lazy assembly instructions (which is not a smart company move), this chair is pretty awesome. I have 3 ways to adjust it: the seat can go up/down, the back support can go in/out, and the whole chair can tilt forwards/backwards. This tilt is especially comfortable, since it allows me to dynamically lean to and fro in my chair as I'm sitting at my computer - I can lean back and it helps me stretch, or I can lean forward and type.I have been in perhaps 9 different chairs over the course of my computer life of 14 years - which isn't a lot - but I can confidently say that this is the best chair I've ever owned.

It arrived at home in the original manufacture package with out any kind of shipment protection/padding and it weigh about 56 pounds. When UPS brought it home, the packaging was in a bad shape and a few plastic/chair parts inside were damaged because the manufacture packaging doesn¿t seem like intended for this kind of shipment. A few of the bags contains screws/etc. were open with two ¿mechanism Screws¿ missing. Armrest seems bended or damaged during the shipment. Assembling was easy and very straightforward. When I saw how it arrived at home, I was upset but I needed this ergonomic chair since I tele-work most of the time and my back hurts. Even though, I found screws were missing, damaged cheep ¿plastic Bellow¿, and damaged/unsettled armrest, I just kept it because of the need for an ergonomic chair. I have been using it for last four days and it doesn¿t seem like helping my back any better than my other ordinary chair with lumbar support.

I am 5'5", and this chair is too tall (my feet don't touch the floor.)Also, someone commented that it wasn't "deep" enough--- they must be very large. The depth is maybe a touch much for me (not bad, though) and my 5'11" boyfriend is fine with the depth (in fact, he loves the chair.)Overall, nice chair- good color, and build seems sturdy. Unfortunately, I think I will give it to my boyfriend. I would not recommend this for shorter people (<5'9")

The leather 'look' does not come close to the Overstock image . And..it is not nearly as comfortable as other reviewers have said. To be fair, if this really is ergo-designed, then the adjustment may be mine to make, not the chair. Assembled fairly quickly, tho the instructions were very minimal. With these caveats I would recommend the chair because of the low price

The chair arrived promptly, everything in good condition, assembly was easy enough. The chair is comfortable, but not as comfortable as I had hoped. None-the-less, I would recommend this chair to other buyers. If I were to do another purchase of an office chair, I would try out as many as possible in a display store and not buy one that was not untried online.

For the price this is a good buy although this unit was just recently purchased so I cannot factor in the durability into the value. For comfort, I personally would have liked for the seat cushion to have been less stiff but the overall appearance & mechanics is very nice & lessens the focus on that issue. Shpmt. was rec'd on time; boxed very well & easy to assemble. This unit was placed in a commercial office environment dedicated for heavy useage on a daily basis. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bought these chairs (2 of them) because my 92 year old mother couldn't get comfortable playing cards or sitting at the table....These chairs were the third and final (hallelujah) attempt to find a chair she could get on and off of with little trouble and give her the comfort she needed while looking good enough for my living room. I bought them in burgundy and they look great!!!!!

I opted to purchase this chair as I needed a solution with more adjustment options than the standard low end "executive chairs" one can find at chain office supply stores and online. Although the leather on this chair is of that same level of quality, the padding is thick and comfortable. The adjustable arms work just as I needed them too, and the seat adjustment paddles work in a straightforward, easy to adjust fashion. You will need a second person to help put the chair together, though. I happily recommend this product to others.

I just renovated my apartment in order to build a home/office for myself and I was determined to find a chair for the office that would look great and feel great. I tried many chairs, but this one from Overstock was just incredible. Besides being very attractive, it is totally adjustable and extremely comfortable (the back support is fantastic!) My husband put it together and he said that it was fairly easy to do.
