  This chair is poorly made, it looks good but trying to assemble it was a nightmare. Bolts were not sodered properly to be able to screw into the holes, and my biggest grip was that they gave you two wooden pegs to attach the sides to the back of the chair and they continously pop out, I don't know why they didn't include screws for that to hold it in place. Overall I was not happy and I am returning it. Next time I will go to a furniture store and buy a chair I see in person rather than buying online.

  I had one of the chair mats (with the teeth) that I got at an office supply store. It was ok, but after hours of sitting in my chair, there would be depressions from the chair wheels. It wasn't so easy to roll around. When I saw the review for this one that said it didn't have depressions, I was sold (but still a skeptic). Well, it arrived very quickly and I've been using it for a few days now. When I first got it I was concerned it would slide around on the carpet, but it doesn't! Also, the one reviewer was right, it doesn't get depressions from the chair wheels! That alone made me very happy. The fact that it looks good is a bonus!

  Our Granddaughter just turned 7 and has her own bedroom now. Purple is her favorite color and we have contributed several items to "finish" the room. She now has light purple curtains, a bright purple comforter, and this really bright purple and white chair for her desk. She loves to write in her new diary and is always busy at her new desk so this will be a perfect addition to complete her own room! The chair was easy to put together and seems to work well. Although the arms etc. are of a molded material, it should last her well into high school and beyond.

  I bought a few of these for our company office as a test to see how they worked at our standing desks and am I glad I tested them first because they are awful. The center balance is off to the point that the chair starts turning on it's own. One minute you are typing away and the next you are sitting with your back to the desk staring at the person behind you, who incidentally might be staring back at you because their chair just did the same thing. I know it wasn't a faulty chair because they all do it. It was funny for a while but we started getting stiffness in our backs as our bodies started unconsciously leaning and bending oddly in order to try and prevent the spinning. We switched back to the stools and immediately felt relief. I rated the quality as poor, but the value as fair seeing as they were cheap chairs to begin with. If you need the chair for the odd job here or there it's fine, but as an office chair, I would highly advise against it.
