I ordered two of these stools with the intent of customizing them for that super cool industrial vibe. When I ordered them on June 29th, the descrition for this stool said "24" fixed height, adjustable back rest"- exactly what I needed for my counter height bar. They arrived as 18" backless stools with a kit for a back, but no place to actually attach the back. So I called, arranged for pick up of the stools. UPS came the next day with authorization to take only one stool. I also had two other stools which arrived damaged from Overstock- that the UPS guy didn't have authorization to collect. Next day UPS guy comes to collect the second of this stool. And to drop of replacements of the damaged stool, which I had called and said I didn't want a replacement (as I had become a bit leery of ordering with Overstock). I cram two giant boxes into my mini car and drop them off at UPS. Two days later UPS delivers the 'correct' height of this stool, two boxes for two stools. Guess what, still 18" stools. Called Overstock. Someone changed the description of this stool to reflect that it was in fact only 18" but still sent me 18" stools anyhow. Now I have to return these two, wait for a refund, and then reorder. A month long adventure.Read More
