I was worried that this would be flimsy and unsafe for my laptop but it is very sturdy and solid and works well for holding my laptop over my DJ Gear. The only downside is that you need to carry an alan wrench & regular wrench (both provided as well) to tighten up or loosen the arm for sturdiness.
