It's really no-thrills at all. The shelf itself is wire mesh, but the holes are small enough to hold most things, there basically is no back, so it's just 3 shelf bottoms but you can see all that on the photo. I like these little things cause they are unassuming, really easy to throw together and take apart and quite sturdy.. I've bought several.

It went together easily but I haven't yet put the things I want to on it. I think that it is study enough for my application.

this shelf is so easy to put together. I put it in our bathroom to use for extra storage and it doesnt take up much space at all. Great extra storage idea.

This is the second set of these shelves I have purchased. They work great in a home office. Wish they had side bars on the end of each shelf like they do on the first shelf, it would make it easier to put books on. Otherwise these are sturdy shelves and look very nice in my office. They were super easy to put together.

I got this to put by the front door to hold mail, keys, shopping bags, etc. because it had a small footprint and simple design. It was pretty easy to assemble and feels quite sturdy once it's put together. I also appreciated the fact that it's possible to adjust the feet to accommodate uneven floorboards. I may wind up getting one of the 4-tier models too. My one complaint is that the only color choice is a sort of gunmetal gray that I'm not wild about. Otherwise it's a really nice, useful little item at a good price.
