I actually use this as a bedside table because I need the combination of drawers, shelves, and large top surface to accommodate all my stuff . The shelves hold my purse, a printer, a laptop, as well as some books, magazines and newspapers, while the 3 roomy drawers hold everything a regular nightable would hold, and are accessible all the way to the back due to the high quality side sliding hardware. While I was waiting for the replacement sliding door to arrive I found it very convenient to use without the door, and haven't put it on yet. I personally wish it came in additional colors, and may end up painting it darker to match the rest of my furniture.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. very well built and sturdy; drawers slide easily almost all the way out, yet stay shut when pushed in; entire unit rolls in any direction on casters.
• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? the sliding door was damaged on arrival - the box looked beat up so this is may have occurred during shipping - new door was sent as soon as I called and it was fine.
