I've very pleased with this desk unit. It looks even better in person and is very substantial. No pressed wood here. It wasn't the easiest thing to put together because I did it myself. If you have someone to help, it wouldn't be a bad assembly.

This desk is HUGE and verry classy. I ordered the siera cherry. The actual color looks more like a deep reddish than the online picture which looks more on the brown side. I did have a problem with the metal leg which came a bit longer than the rest. Overstock took care of the problem promptly. Overall, I am verry satisfied with the desk and Overstock customer service.

Have had this for over a month and its worth the price. The product came in good condition except pedestal top had one of the nail gooves larger than the nail. Easy assembly for 2 people. Overstock ensured it was replaced without delay. Great customer service.

Well, the pieces of the Mahogany desk are slightly different than the picture. The top is actually the same color as the side panels, and the privacy panel is silver. The instructions are clear, but there are four screws to attach the return and extension that are extremely difficult to tighten, since they are blocked by the side panels. I ended up using a screwdriver bit inside a socket. Other than that, the build seems average. Sturdy, but the desk top doesn't meet the return and extension tops perfectly flush, so there's a bit of a ridge between them. I didn't install the center drawer, as it would be right on top of my legs.
