I bought both this file and the matching desk and bookcase in the anthractie black/silver combination for a small home office, and am completely satisfied with all three pieces. The assembly took a bit of time, but I did it without help from my husband, and all the parts fit and went together once I carefully read the directions. This file does double duty in our office, as we have a wireless all-in-one printer on the top. I store the printer supplies and paper in the file drawers, and use the file drawer in the larger desk for what file folders we have (most stuff is filed electronically on the computer these days). Overstock had the best price on this file cabinet when I bought it, and shipping was prompt.

This was the most difficult item to assemble Ive purchased from OStock. The rubber bands are not very friendly and in the end were pitched. After all that effort the drawer gets stuck and will not close without slamming. )-;

One of the panel was bent and damage. Currently I am seeking an exhange of the panel. Otherwise the unit appear to be quality construction. (Assembly instruction were also missing from the box. But I was able to download one online easily.)

Should've just spent more money to get something sturdier.

good product good service & delivery. Easy t understand assembly

The good is that it came out beautiful. Took a bit over an hour to put together. The most difficult was actually attaching the two small draws to the cabinet pull out arms. Either you do it laying on your back or as I did flip the entire thing over and try to get the little tiny tiny screw into the little tiny tiny hole. Overall I'm really happy with the results.

I really like this file drawer pedestal. I love the color and the fact that it is on wheels. The only problem I had was when the box arrived one of the side pieces was all bent and could not be used as it was to put it together. I called the company and they immediately got one out. It was excellent customer service! The only enhancement I would make on this unit is to make sure the drawers close all the way and glide in and out easier. Thank you for this product and the savings I received on it!

This cabinet is adequate for a home office. The drawers do not pull out as far as I thought they would, but for pencils and small objects, it's adequate. Mine came with a big chunk out of the top. I kept it because it is too large to return. I slid it under my computer desk so the missing chunk does not show. Also, I had ordered two rocking chairs previous to this order and one of them came with a broken rail. Once again, it was easier to repair than to return.

Overall good: size, #of drawers, color, price. Drawers should extend fully open - - top two do not. Elastic string (for drawer return) is very poor. I took strings off 3 of 4 cabinets.

This is a really great filing cabinet. I love it! The top 2 drawers are perfect for desk supplies and the bottom for your files, of course. It's VERY sturdy and pretty easy to put together. I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because a couple pieces came bent. It was no big deal and didn't affect the looks of the cabinet at all. Also, I will agree with other posts that the directions are lacking. But if you've put together furniture before you'll probably have a really easy time of it. If you haven't put together furniture before and have a hard time following picture directions where you might have to fill in the blanks, you need to get someone to help you or reconsider this purchase.

THIS IS GREAT FOR A SMALL OFFICE. This file cabinet is sturdy and looks great. I am a huge fan of Overstock.com . This is the first place I check when I'm in the market for any product!!

It took a little while to find but I am very satisfied with this file cabinete. The shipping was very quick to reach me. The actual cherry color is darker than it appeared in the picture and the instructions should have given more details but the final results look very good in my home office. I am very satisfied with my purchase. Thank you.

The filing cabinets were exactly as advertized. We've assembled one with 2 to go. The directions are entirely by diagram, so a little verbage might have helped. No problem until we tried to close the bottom file drawer. We had trouble with that, but a son did it easily. More to the point, I am a huge fan of Overstock.com now!! This will be the first place I check when I'm in the market for any product!!

This file cabinet is sturdy and looks great.The problem I had was with the shipping company, they were the worst, they had my package for 5 days, turns out they had the wrong address. They never bothered to call me and when I called them I got an obnoxious woman on the line who was more than bothered by this customers requests. This shipping company offers curb side delivery only and would not leave the package. That meant I would have to take a day off of work just to sit and wait for my package. Imagine that. I was so frustrated dealing with them that I finally just drove to Brooklyn where they are, from queens where I live, to pick up my cabinets. In the end the cabinets were exactly what I needed and they were worth the aggravation the shipping company caused me. Overstock take note: please don't use these shippers in the future.

Great little hidden under the desk extra drawer space. It was a little dented in some areas, but very easy to put together even I could do it. Easy step-by-step picture instructions. I would recommend this product if you are short of desk drawers and need extra and it rolls easily under a standard desk.

The over all appearence is great and it matches my computer stand(same brand) but the ease in putting in together is not at all what the discription says. It took me one week to decipher the limited instructions and try to get the concept of the item . On day 4 I realized they (instructions) were incorrect and some of the info was backwards.
