This is top of the line!

I ordered this desk on Tuesday and it was delivered Friday in six boxes. Have a helper, as this desk is big and heavy. Assembly was easy. Quality is magnificent- solid wood, smooth surface, the wood veneer is gorgeous and seems resistant to scratces (my cat's claws usually ruin everything). There is plenty of legroom below. Filing drawers- flimsy hanging folders do not do well, as they stick. I had to buy high quality hanging folders, and the hooks actually slide along the wood outside the rail. The file cabinets have a lock and key. This desk is worth the money.

Great desk!

We are very pleased with this desk. It is a very contemporary piece that will fit into any room. It is very heavy and requires two people to assemble. Once assembled, it has been wonderful to work at. I use the larger, primary desk space to hold two computer monitors and keyboards as well as a phone and other office supplies. The smaller, "return" portion is great for using as a writing space or laying out paper files for review. While this is a relatively expensive desk, it is certainly superior to any other "assembly required" desks you would find at an office supply store or even a standard furniture store.

How accurate was the sizing? The sizing was very accurate. Make note of the bowed front when planning how it will fit into the room.

Please tell us about the quality of the product. Very pleased with the heavy construction and quality of all drawers.

Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? It was primarily free of defects. Only minor a minor defect was found during assembly. It was fixed with a small drill and wood glue.
