I wanted a large, basic desk and this is perfect. The color is a true cherry - not washed out - and vibrant. Total weight is 150 lbs and can be assembled alone until you install the top (awkward). ASSEMBLY NOTE: if you haven't worked with cams before they are very easy ( a child can do it) but the instructions I received were not clear. You have to point the arrow towards the hole. In this case there is no arrow but if you look closely at the screwdriver notches you will see one of the four is longer and somewhat pointed. Make sure that point is lined up with the corresponding hole. Snaps in quickly and easily. If you have to struggle you may be out of alignment.

This is an really nice desk. It is super solid, and looks very nice. The finish looks like it will hold up for a long time. It is heavy, you will need a friend to help you move the box and put it together. Weighing in at ~150lbs it is impressive that you can get this delivered for $3.00.
