I bought this piece for my University office. It is well made, well finished and has quality hardware in and out. All panels in and out are solid and thick (the top is almost 1-1/2 inches thick) and it is heavy. It was shipped inside a box strapped down to wooden pallet (good idea) and takes two people to navigate. Best of all it cost a lot less than standard gray metal University issue. The weight might seem like overkill, but not so; you can rest assured it will not topple over if you accidentally open the top drawer without first shutting the bottom drawer, so no tossed flower-pots, or vases, or spilled coffee, etc, (sound familiar?)

The file cabinet arrived quickly. It is very sturdy and looks great. It is very heavy and solid. Good value.

Solid,well constructed & heavy.(very heavy,mr.fembot said to mention that part yet again) Safety interlocks. Best of all,a really attractive piece of office furniture. Not junk.
