Best Quality annd Durability for the Price !

This Desk is wonderful for hobbies of all kind or for your home office. We bought the oak Putty color, and love it. Nothing around this city could come even close to the price of this piece. If you are looking for a lifetime investment for your craft hobby or office this is the desk for you. This desk is easy to wipe down for cleaning, and features a high compression laminate top that will probably never get damaged. One draw back is you will need two really strong men to assemble it or turn it over for you once assembled because it weights almost 200 pounds. This one draw back is why I gave it 4 stars. The closest any furniture store could come on a steel desk with return locally was $1100.00. The substantial savings is worth assembly, plus if it's going into a smaller room for crafts you can assemble it right in the room it's staying in. Thank You O for this great value.

Nice product, contents damaged

This could be a great product if it was manufactured to better specifications and packaged better. My company purchased four desks and there was damage to at least one piece of each desk. The assembly required is not too much, but it is difficult to connect the desk to the return because the manufacturing is not very precise. Holes don't line up on the two pieces, for instance. Luckily, the pieces that were damaged can be hidden if placed against the wall. Also, delivery from overstock.com only includes delivery to the door or loading dock of your building. They do not deliver to your office or even inside your building. For the price, the desk is a pretty good deal, just inspect your packages before the driver leaves.

Nice BIG Desk

I purchased the Marvel 72-inch Single Pedestal Steel Desk with Return; and am very satisfied with it. The price and reviews made me decided to purchase. It is a nice BIG, sturdy desk, once you get it assembled. The assembly instructions are not clear on how to attach the return / credenza; and the plate that joins the return to the main desk *DOESN'T* line up with any of the pre-drilled holes. If you buy this desk you won't be disappointed with the end result; but be prepared to spend some time on assembly; have a helper (to flip and move pieces); and have a drill and some extra hardware/screws. Overall: Good quality; good price; assembly instructions lacking.

Nice desk

The desk is nice. You can definately tell it is very durable... though not as sturdy as some the 'old school' metal desks. I built it by myself in about 2 hours. The color was different than I expected, I was expecting 'putty' color to be a grayish but I guess its more like a beige. The color still goes with the room so no bid deal. Overall nice HUGE desk and is solid.

Great Desk

I ordered one for a new office to see how we liked the quality. After we received it and assembled it we ordered two more, one of the same model and one without a return. The quality is better than I expected and assembly was easy!

MARVEL WORKSTATION

This is solid, easy to put together. It is not designer furniture but if you want something that will last forever and is a real workhorse this is a great piece of furniture. It is very nice looking and I picked this due to the metal construction, I'm tired of buying all this pressed wood that doesn't hold up. I bought this for my home but I own my own business and intend to replace the desks in my office as needed with this product.
