I bought this stand to raise the 32" flat screen TV in our bedroom, which was on an old CRT television table. The stand is large and sturdy and raises the TV a full 6", which makes it a good height to watch while lying in bed. The only issue I had with this stand resulted from Overstock's poor packaging when they shipped it. It was just placed in a soft-walled cardboard box, which was crushed by the shipper. So, the mesh on the drawer/shelf, the little pocket on the right, and the mesh on the top were all bent. It took me about thirty minutes to straighten everything out by pushing with my thumbs. But, everything did straighten out and I didn't have to return the stand. So, that's a good thing. Overall, I like this stand very much. The base of my TV is large enough that it extends past the indentations on the top, which aren't deep enough to be a problem, anyway. If you need a sturdy stand for a large monitor or medium-sized TV, this is certainly a good solution. I recommend the item, with the caveats regarding Overstock's shipping taken into account. On a brighter note regarding Overstock's shipping: The item arrived in one day. You really can't beat speed like that! In sum, I recommend the stand, urge caution with Overstock's packing, and - in the end - I am very happy with the item. For the price, it is an excellent choice!
