  Needed a lamp adn magnifier to solder some circuit boards with. The product does what it advertises, clamps to the table, moves easily and surprisingly stays where ever you place it. I was worried about the staying in place feature as I need to use it at many angles.

  Ordered this lamp to help with seeing small details on craft items. It works very well and the magnification area is much larger than I thought it would be. Very easy to work with and I am thrilled to be able to get back to my projects!

  Bought this for my daughter who is a Graphic Arts student. She said the lamp is just what she needed for her projects. Easy to mount. Great light and magnification.

  This lightbox is poorly designed and made. Through shipping the welds were loosen and deformed. The plexiglass would into the box since the rails were too far apart because of the deformation. The light switches would not work unless you held them down for an uncomfortably long time. The leg unit was not worth the almost $$$ charge. The total amount of light is inadequate.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality of construction was very poor. The welds came loose in shipping. The metal gauge is very thin. The on switches require a long time to activate the lights. Sometimes they would not work.
  • Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? The light switches on the first unit would not work so probably the mini ballasts were defective.

  I received this task lamp quickly from O.co. I was happy to see it took no assembly other than clamping the base onto my bench and placing the swing arm into the slot. It is bright, easy to maneuver and the magnifying feature is marvelous! The lid that closes down on the viewer is nice because it keeps dust off the glass when not in use. It's a great addition to my stained glass studio.
