Bought to de-case my 300+ CD collection so that I could get rid of the unsightly CD storage shelf. The binders are a nice quality leather like vinyl and have an old library like look and feel to them. Each front and back "page" holds 4 discs and each binder is set to hold 48. I did not bother storing the CD leaflets in the pages. You can purchase additional pages but I don't think you could add more than one page to each binder before the binder starts to over fill, in other words 48 is perfect. I purchased the brown, they are nice ... I just wish they were a little darker. I originally ordered the 6 pack, I am now ordering another 6 pack to do the same with my DVD's and Blu Ray's.
After inserting my CDs into the pages that came with each binder, I found that the binder was overfilled. After removing 2 filled pages from each book they fit well on my bookcase. So only expect to use 10 pages per binder (40 CDs vs. 48). I started to leave an empty page in the binder for future additional CDs. Since I was attempting to put them in alphabetical order it would be impossible to rearrange them all each time you added a new CD. By leaving the extra empty pages in the book to be used for future additions, this system will be able to expand with my CD collection. I would suggest getting more binders than you think you need. It is not a perfect system but with a bit of work and planning it works well and looks great!
