The laptop lap mat is very comfortable and easy to carry wherever the need.

The pad does what it purports to do. It is utilitarian but not exceptional. It sits on your lap or on a bed without allowing the heat from the laptop to penetrate the surface. The laptop doesn't shift on the platform but it would if it were to be tilted dramatically. Overall, it's a worthwhile purchase.

I am a high school student and I have a 15 inch notebook PC that I did most if not all of my typing on. I wrote all of my projects and essays while seated on my bed with my computer on my lap. This worked well for about ten minutes before the computer became hot as a firecracker! I knew there had to be some sort of product out there that could help me with this but all I found were laptop stands with built in fans that were made out of metal or wood. Then I came across the lap mat. This is one of those "why didn't I think of that products." It has a leather like top that holds the lap top very well, and the best part is the soft padding that rests on your legs. No more dead leg. I love this product! There is even a little room for a mouse. Not much but you can make use of it! Overall this is a sweet product and is well worth the price.

I love this product! It is very comfortable while you are sitting on your laptop without a desk. Usually when I use my laptop, it gets really hot and uncomfortable on my legs, but this is great to use and it also is elevated so it is a lot more comfortable.

I use this product every day. It keeps my lap cool when using my laptop. I'll use it when using my laptop on the couch or bed and the beaded bag keeps the heat from the laptop from getting through to my lap. It's large enough to accommodate my laptop which is 17" wide. The mat can also double as a writing pad as well.
