Does a Great Job
My husband likes to sit in a chair in our den and watch television while working on his laptop, but I could see that it wasn't really comfortable for him to do so. After looking at a bunch of lap desks all over the web, I chose this one, and it's perfect. It does the job beautifully: it's lightweight but sturdy; it's angled just right; the laptop doesn't slide around on the surface of the lap desk; and my husband no longer has to shift around all the time to get comfortable. There's enough room on the desk surface for the TV remote, which is the most important gadget in the room, after all. ;)

Comfortable, light weight, convenient side pockets
I shopped around before deciding to order this lapdesk. Wow! am I happy I did. This is totally light weight. The handle in the front makes it easy to slide around even with my laptop on it. It sits nicely on your lap and contours to your legs. I think its memory foam inside. Its thick enough to bring the computer up a few inches. The plastic top can come off. I turned it upside down so there is a lip to hold my computer in place, but you can leave it the other direction also. The side pockets are simply sown into the polyester fabric with velcro closures at the top. They would hold pens, pencils, eye glasses, a cell phone--- nothing large. I like it so much I got my husband one and he loves it also. Can't recommend enough. Get one, you'll love it.

good quality and large. The only drawback is the hardtop slips easily from the straps. I will be getting another one.

Well-desined lap caddy
I bought this as a birthday gift for my son-in-law. He's a high-tech guy, and not particularly to buy for. I didn't realize he already had a caddy for his laptop. However, he now only uses this one, and much prefers it - says it sits nicely on his lap, and he especially likes the fact that there's room for other things. Seems to be a winner, and I'd certainly recommend it. I don't think you'd regret it.

nice lap desk!
My black lap desk arrived today, and it is perfect for my needs. (In fact, my hubby likes it so well, I just ordered another one for him to use with his laptop computer while he is relaxing in his recliner.) I appreciate that the cover is removable and washable, and I also like the ability to turn the top hard piece over to use the other side (which then gives a front ridge to keep things from slipping off the desk top. I have several things that I need to have a lap desk for since I became somewhat disabled some time ago. This lap desk is comfortable over my sensitive damaged leg area, which means I can use it longer. The memory foam adjusts to the shape of my legs, which is fantastic. I can lay magazines on it to read, eat meals on it, and do other things that have been difficult without it. I am a happy customer!
