This is so much less expensive than the named brand it is worth a try. I used these cartridges with some success for a couple of years. But then I started getting terrible problems with no ink being delivered to the printheads. I tried all the automatic cleaning, putting brand new cartridges in, and then fully overhauled the printhead and was still frustrated. I was about to buy a new printhead but tried the Canon named brand ink one more time and that cured all my problems. So these cheaper version are a cost saving, do work - but not are as good as Canon and may give you problems in the long run or if you get a bad batch?
