It's ok... have to work at it it make it work....a little slow to respond, but it does work as you manipulate the pencil.

I'm happy with the electric pencil sharpener as it does exactly what it's supposed to do - sharpens pencils very nicely with a minimum of effort. The electric motor seems to continue to run a tiny bit after the pencil has been removed, however, that has no effect one way or the other on the way the pencil is sharpened. Overall, the price was fair and the item works very well. I would recommend this item.
