The book safe was smaller than I thought yet sturdy and well made. I purchased it for my son to use in his dorm room to hide money, gift cards, and other valuables. We were only able to fit money, gift cards, and a cell phone. There was not much room for anything else.

It makes a semi-convincing concealed lock box if it is mixed in with a sufficient number of books. I had expected there to be real paper to help hide its true purpose, however it is a plastic mold that 'look' like pages.

I received the book safe and I love it!!!! look's like a BOOK . I'm ordering (2) more. It's is large enough space in the book safe you could put anything in it.

I love this. I blends well with my other books on the shelf. It's so realistic, I forget it's a safe! Highly recommend.

I really like this little booksafe. It is disguised very well as a common paperback, and blends in nicely. It is a tad smaller than i imagined it would be, but thats not a problem. Its not a very heavy duty lock but better than an envelope (my former important stuff/emergency folder).

The paperback safe was just what I needed. It fit right into my book case no one notices . I aslo love that it has a lock on so even if someone accidentally stumbles on it they cannot open it. The only thing I would change is the front cover .The safe should have a couple of false pages then show the lock. Overall the safe is a good product.

I really love this book/safe. It not only looks like a real book, but it also locks shut on the inside. It is perfect to keep cash, jewelry, and/or credit cards in. I have been looking for something like this, and when I found it on Overstock.com for such a reasonable price, I couldn't pass it up!

I purchased this product along with two other sister products of the same nature. This one was by far the smaller of the three kinds I purchased, but am still pleased with the quality of the product. I bought several of these as gifts for my pre-teen & teen family members for Christmas. This (and the others I purchased) really do look like a book. I am sure this book safe will be a hit with the kids, but if you are seriously protecting something of value, you might want to go with a regular safe or open up a safety deposit box at the bank. In the meantime, it's novel, but functional and it beats giving pajamas!
