This is a perfect filing cabinet for organizing papers. It is definitely not as sturdy as a fireproof one, but perfect for simple storage. It was a great value, and I can't believe it shipped for the low flat rate, because it came already assembled, with no damage, well packaged in a crate. Way to go Overstock!

I went to several office big box stores and the choices were limited for this type of cabinet. Either cheap and flimsy, with lots of drawer-drag, or hefty and overpriced. I've had the Hirsh for about a month now,and am very impressed. It's solid, the drawers roll easily, even heavily loaded, and the price was better than I found anywhere else. Came very well packaged, so no dings or dents.

My file cabinet arrived in perfect conditon. It was exactly as described and now holds all of my files in one cabinet. I like having a lock should we be away on vacation and want to keep our files safe. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a lot of file space but in a small file cabinet.

I bought two to go on either side of a table to make an office desk. They work beautifully. The drawers slide well and there is a little slide bar lock so the drawers can't spring open on you. I would definitely recommend these and the price was very reasonable.

I bought this in black. The color is good and the metal is of a gauge that it is strong enuf to hold two drawers full of file folders. I thought the price was good and free shipping eliminates any additional cost. It only has one file divider per drawer, I wish there were two. When the drawers are full you can't open both at once or the cabinet starts to tip forward. I tried to load them both heavy towards the back. This is for my home office. It was really packaged good, styrofoam on the inside along with heavy cardboard to protect the corners, and styrofoam on the outside, and it was shrink wrapped. It would take a lot to damage it in transit. Came Fed Ex.

This is a great file cabinet... I was looking to replace a lateral file cabinet, and this one is perfect. I have it under a desk top, and the drawers pull out enough to reach all the way to the last file. It is a nice light beige color and looks nice in my craft room. I don't have need of a lock, but it is nice that it is available. I am very pleased with my purchase.
