Honestly, brand new genuine HP toner is ludicrously expensive, so several years ago we switched to generic brands. Guess what? You get what you pay for. Afterwards we started having all sorts of print quality issues with both alignment and print density. After getting our printer serviced — there ended up being a lot of spilled toner in the printer as well — we've started moving back to HP-branded toner. This remanufactured cartridge was a great find since it's a genuine HP case and chip and it's worked perfectly but for a fraction of the price of new.
