Nice product, drawers slide out easily. However, it's difficult if not impossible to remove drawers to move piece. I don't know if this is in the design or I just couldn't figure it out. I read the documentation, couldn't find anything. If you plan on leaving the cabinet in one place FOREVER, it's a good buy. Personally, I don't want to own anything that 2 girls can't move. And 2 girls CAN"T move this! Also, the key does not lock securely. The drawers could be forced open easily. To overstock.com's credit, however, after checking the price of this item with catalogs from other office supply stores, overstock's price is almost 1/2. So in that sense, it's a good buy. By the way, I gave the item to my brother for his office at work and I will be buying a couple smaller file cabinets instead.

We ordered two of these file cabinets on Saturday and they arrived just THREE days later -- incredibly quick, especially given the stated 1-6 week delivery window. They came pre-assembled, each as one very heavy piece packaged on the top & bottom in styrofoam & cardboard and saran-wrapped around the sides. You need at least 2-3 strong people to lift them -- thankfully the delivery guy offered to help us lug them up two flights of stairs (we gave him a big tip). The cabinets are solid metal and sturdily-built, with drawers that glide smoothly over the rollers. You have to re-balance the cabinet with two small screwed-in feet so that the front edge is higher than the back edge (to guard against tipping over when the cabinet is full). We haven't added any file folders yet, but it looks like you can only load them side-to-side in one column. This is our first order with Overstock and we're pleased by the quality & stunningly fast delivery service.

This file cabinet is exactly what I expected. I have a small home business and it works quite nicely in my office space. It is nicely made and appears to be capable of giving me years of service.

We purchased about 10 Hon filing cabinets for over 700 bux each, and these are just as good, look exactly the same except for the drawer pull. Very Very nice cabinets. no assembly required.

I love the wide lateral option on this cabinet. I have had one that was not so it was very hard to find an out of the way place for it. This one I bought is not a problem. I have it in an entry way closet and it is prefect for when I need to get into it and I still have plenty of room to get around it.
