I purchased this with low expectations and have been very pleasantly surprised. Pros: The springs are quite strong so far, the magnifier is HUGE and its sweet spot is just where I would like it to be. Its also quite attractive physically, there were no paint scratches and the color is consistent. Cons: It did take me a minute to find the on switch, which is inside the cover and normally hidden. The cable is also not very long, perhaps only 4 or 5 feet. Naturally do not leave this where a child could put his fingers in it as it does snap shut as you wheel it around.

Ordered this lamp to help with seeing small details on craft items. It works very well and the magnification area is much larger than I thought it would be. Very easy to work with and I am thrilled to be able to get back to my projects!
