The photo shows a black mousepad and the one I received is brown. I wouldn't have ordered it if I had realized that.

My last mouse pad was your typical fabric top/rubber back type thing, which I had for more than ten years. I noticed that after all these years that it had become rather disgusting due to the accumulation of debris--primarily dead skin and food. The fabric nature of the top made it very difficult to clean and the overall effect of trying to clean it was actually that of rubbing the debris in deeper. After ten years, it was time to ditch this hideous beast.My replacement, the Flat Leather Mouse Pad, was ordered and arrived swiftly. It doesn't have the same clean-up issues--the top is smooth brown leather that wipes clean with a damp paper towel. The only negative thing I can say about it is that its backside is not as rubbery as it could be and the entire pad tends to move around a bit while in use.

The mouse pad is great. I think it will last a lifetime because there's really nothing can destroy it within the normal scope of everyday usage. The thread is sewn around and so it reinforces the border. The only concern I have of this product is that it is a bit small. In fact, I did not use it as a mouse pad and I got a different one instead. Great product though.

This mouse pad looks nice, but the bottom surface is too slick. Every time I move my mouse, the pad moves with it! I'm giving this away and buying something else.

Well made - quality materials. Nice to have a mouse pad with backbone - not one of those floppy rubber things. Works equally well with both roller and optical mouse types.

Can't beat this mousepad for the price-although, since it is leather, it is a bit slick, but i think once it is really worked in a little, this will be a great, long lasting mousepad

I carry this mouse pad with my laptop, it gives you a sturdy surface for your mouse when you are using your laptop on a couch/chair/bed etc. I bought my 2 children laptops for Christmas and I will be giving them this mouse pad and I know they will be as pleased as I am.

This mouse pad is well made, with a pebbled black finish on one side and a smooth maroon finish on the other. Both are a little slippery when used on a hard surface, like a laminate.

It arrived in a different color than photo (Brick Color). Fine with me, Good rigid construction. Great tracking.

Perfect for office or home use. A reall handsome accessory for the computer.

I don't think you can elaborate too much on a mouse pad. Although, the advertised color of the mouse pad I ordered was black it came in brown, a little dissappointing. It is just a plain mouse pad, no special features and serves it's purpose. Nice if you like something plain looking or contemporary.

I thought I was ordering a black mouse pad, but received a brown leather mouse pad instead. It looks nice and works great with my wireless mouse, but I'm disappointed that it wasn't properly described as brown. There were black mouse pads I could have selected from.
