  The file cabinet is slim lined, which I thought I wanted, but because of that does not hold as much as the file cabinet it was replacing. The drawer lock mechanism appears flimsy; the drawers open partway and give you the impression they would easily give even when locked. The wheel design is flawed--no matter how well you put them on, they fall off before you turn the file cabinet upright. I finally had to take them off completey.

  I did not look at the measurement before I ordered the racks, Which are way to long. So I have to reorder the racks again.

  I needed a small file, of a very specific size, to put inside a cabinet. The glass top rolling file was the only one that was advertised as 14" wide. Pros: Graphite finish is different, durable looking, and attractive Cabinet parts fit together well Hardware and parts are good quality Can be assembled without rollers or top and will fit in very small spaces Sturdy locking mechanism Cons: Actually 15.5" wide (I can barely squeeze it into its spot) Screw holes and slots need to have paint cleared out of them for parts to fit together (easy to do) Because of this, care must be taken to not crack the finish when inserting screws Assembly illustrations are sometimes unclear - specifically for installing the lock. If it does not work, reinstall it, "upside down". The glass top is a bright blue, (not evident in the photo).

  I love the cabinet. Plenty of room for files, easy adjustable structure to hand both legal and letter sized files. I love it.

  • Please tell us about the quality of the product. The file cabinet is wonderful. Wood is beautiful and lock great. The indentation for opening the file drawer could be improved but it is functional.

  I am totally pleased with this file cabinet. It is the perfect size, color and quality that I was looking for. I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone contemplating buying it.
