We have found the shredder to be sturdy and more heavy-duty than previous shredders owned. For our small office - we find the shredder to adequately handle our shredding needs. We are expecting this shredder to last several years. Having just purchased this machine, we cannot as yet review the durability.

First of all, I recieved the shipping notice, glad for that, it was already here and doing a terrific job. I priced around and used consumer reports, this is a great value for a small price.

The shredder works very well and is sturdy.. I received it much faster than I expected, so Kudos to Overstock.com. The transaction was effortless and I am happy with the shredder.

We've only had our Fellowes shredder for a few weeks and so far so good. My one disappointment is the size of the paper after its been shred - I was expecting diamond cut confetti (the one at work is one, and works great) hence the expectation. Aside from that one thing - it's great... the size (of the cut) is fine - short to medium length strip...bottom line, it does the job.*Shreds credit cards!!*Decent size bin for shredded paper

This machine has power to it, easily shreds your daily trash mail and bills in no time, even credit cards !

I am quite pleased with my purchase. The built in safety features are great because I have grandchildren with little fingers. The unit is powerful yet quiet. I received it within two days of my order. I was at an office store the other day and say the same brand selling for quite a bit more. I am very please with the unit as well as the great condition it arrived in. The instructions were easy to follow. i am very pleased, its a quality unit.

I love this shredder. Is is quiet as well as very sturdy--you get your money's worth. I was concerened about the noise of it, since I live in an upper level apartment and didn't want to disturb the people below me, but I don't have to worry with this. It also does the job and the directions are really easy (for anyone like me who hates following a laundry list of directions). For example, I put too many pieces of paper in and it got a little jammed--I just followed the the directions--hit reverse and forward buttons several times. It was the equivalent of rocking your car over a pile snow...it just worked itself through! I love it. It also has a slot just for chopping up credit cards....and it works well. Don't hesitate to buy it. Also, the manufacturers check the functioning of it before it is even mailed to you. You really can't go wrong.

Perfect purchase, but that's nothing new with Overstock. I've searched online at every outlet; office supply company and Warehouse Shopping Centers for a replacement to my Royal paper shredder. The royal was OK; but super loud and couldn't handle the credit cards (could have been the model, but we purchased the best at the time). The FELLOWES we just purchased and received within DAYS is very quiet and I had a load of papers and those darn fake credit cards they send with names and personal information and spent the last hour nicely chopping away. PLUSES: Very comfortably quiet - I didn't have to turn up the volume on the news; easy to put together (just two pieces) and safety features (which the other didn't have). Super fast shipping; fantastic shipping cost and great price, and I did many comparisons. Nice convenient handle to lift the top piece to empty. MINUS: I didn't find this sooner. We all need to destroy the information companies keep sending with our personal information; and this is our only way to try to save indentity theft. THANK YOU OVERSTOCK FOR MAKING THAT TASK JUST A LITTLE EASIER.
