The shredder arrived at my home in two days. I used it non-stop for several hours pausing when the 'hot' light button came on. It works quickly and just as the description said it would. The only thing I found different was that it said it can hold up to 8 pages in thickness, and I could only run 3 pages at a time without it jamming. When it did jam, it reversed and came right out. It's small enough to fit under my desk, and I am very pleased.

This was my first order with Overstock.com. My old shredder died and junk mail was piling up. I found the Fellowes P-58c paper shredder on Overstock.com at a good price and ordered it. Within a few days I was back in business shredding unwanted mail; thank you Overstock. I will definitely buy from you again.

The first thing when i got it was that i thought it would be bigger, but this size is okay. It's kinda loud but it does its job. It can also shred credit cards which is great. I didn't have this for too long but so far its good. Hopefully it will last my LOTS of shredding.

This is a powerful shredder and fits my needs. It probably can be used in an office, too. Recycling became very easy, especially when you want to shred those personal papers. It criss-crosses the paper, which is a good feature, too.

It choked up early on, on a sealed envelope with less than 3 pages enclosed. This is good for daily shredding jobs, but nothing special. I could have spent less and been just as satisfied.

I bought this shredder for home use and to replace a shredder I got tired of fighting with. This Fellowes shredder is everything I was looking for. It is compact and efficient. I honestly haven't tried to shred the 8 or 9 pages at a time that the machine is allegedly designed to handle. Of course I didn't get it with the intent of quickly shredding phonebooks and I'm not in the Government so I don't have to quickly get rid of incriminating papers. What it does is easily shred the papers I need to shred to help ensure my privacy. I like the fact that I don't have to remove staples before shredding. I would recommend this product to anyone needing a good shredder for home use.

Good value for the money. Fits easily next to desk or under it. However, it only handles 3 maximum 4 pieces for paper at a time.

A bit noisy, but does the job. It is more than adequate for home use. I would recommend a larger model on wheels if you are using this for your office.

Works great. We had this for several months, shredding a normal amount of personal documents and household junk mail. In no way did we ever shred what could be considered a heavy load or a commercial load. About a month ago it quit working. After using it to shred a few pages, the unit didn't overheat, it just stopped working and wouldn't start again. Thankfully, we had the protection plan and can pick out a different one. Also to note, we have seen this shredder cheaper in office supply stores.

Very robust shredder - it can shred multiple pages without slowing down and can run for a good while without overheating. The paper holder below is also big so you can go a long time without having to empty. I previously purchased a slightly cheaper one, but you really get what you pay for here.

This shredder works great and I give it quite a workout with junk mail and other documents that I don't want ending up in the wrong hands. It's a cross-cut shredder and does the job well. After about a month or so of owning this, I've experienced no jams. My only criticism of this model is that it's not on wheels. I prefer it to be tucked away under my desk when it's not in use so dragging it out to use it is kind of a pain, but I guess I'll adjust. Really, it's a nice shredder. I hope it lasts. :-)

I bought this for my husband and he loves it. It really works fast and shredds easily. I compared prices on other brands at other stores and this one was the best rated. After reading reviews of other machines that were less expensive but broke or often jammed, decided to spend a bit more on this one. It's powerful, not too noisy, seems like a great buy.

This shredder is by far the best! We have gone through several shredders in past that have had repeated jams and eventually quit. The Powershred P-58C lives up to it's name as it easily shreds multiple pages as well as credit cards. I was surprised by the quick delivery as well! Thanks Overstock!

I was hesitant to order an electronic item online but the reviews were so explicitly complimentary regarding this shredder that I decided to chance it and I am so thrilled that I did. This is the third shredder I have owned and by far, the best! It does everything that the description says it will and hopefully will last longer than my previous shredders (not purchased on Overstock). Thank you Overstock!

This is a very good machine. It does several pieces of paper at a time and the criss cross cut if essential for security purposes! A great buy.

This is a powerful little machine. It's our third shredder and our best. The first burned out, the second is in the basement, and this is now our main shredder. It's powerful and doesn't fool around and get temperamental.

This is a powerful home shredder, although the top has to be fitted exactly onto the bin for it to work. This may take a couple of tries, but it's worth it for the price and quality.
