Easy to operate but I find it bogs down with anything over 2 sheets of paper at a time. I bought it because it was rated moderate usage, but I would rate it for light duty.

Works great. Takes up to 8 sheets of paper at a time. Automatic settings. Great price.

Operates easily, compact and affordable. I would recommend this for home use.

I bought this shredder at Overstock without checking around. They gave the retail value of it about 3 times what it actually sells for. At any price, it is a piece of junk that won't shred more than 2 sheets at one time. If you like the smell of motors that are working too hard, this is the shredder for you. JYC

This paper shredder is servicable but I would not choose it again. It is a little loud when it is shredding but it shreds fine. It does not shred into small confetti pieces, but small strips. I like the locking function as it works well and I have a toddler running around my home office. The refurb unit I received works fine except for the fact that the top of the shredder doesn't seem to fit just right on the bucket. The fit must be just right for the shredder to operate. I was able to fix it by putting something between the back of the top and the bucket to wedge the top on correctly but even that doesn't work perfectly. Sometimes I have to push the top down with my hand to get it to engage. I don't use the shredder often enough for that to really bother me. I'm not sure if this is because it is a refurb product or just a bad design. I also don't like the fact that there is a hole in the unit (I'm assuming to allow you to see how full it is) as it makes it easy for the paper to spill out. It does what I want it to do, though, and was inexpensive so I'm not too bothered.

a bit noisy but does its job well. i ordered two shredders and the other one seems to shred better than this one. that being said, it is not a bad shredder.

The paper shredder was not quite what I expected but is good quality and gets the job done. Overall I would recommend this product to other buyers.

It doesn't shred more than 4-5 sheets at a time, but for the price, it's a great machine. I recommend it.

like the "cross cut" action , but DO NOT shred more than ONE sheet @ a time.... it just can't handle it!!!

this shredder has a nice safety feature... surely is more than worth the cost...easy to use with trash bag already in basket...over all great item and deal.
