Was just what I wanted. I needed a door valet to fit different size door thickness andthe expandable door valet fit the bill to a T. I used one in my home and the other in my RV. The RV doors are much thinner than the home, but with the expandable door valet was no problem. Would recommend this product to everyone wh uses the door valet due to different door thickness. Great product with a great price fro Overstock.

This item is made of relient plastic, and that's good, because the tyvek envelope the USPS uses was shredded in transit. I was given a note saying the item was damaged -- duh, that was obvious! There was even some part from a piece of furniture (a drawer handle) stuck in the same envelope that wasn't part of my shipment. I recommend that the boxes be used from now on, as I was lucky the plastic wasn't broken. Otherwise, they work as I intended -- I like to hang stuff on doors (like my backpack, my pajamas, robe, jackets) and since I rent, making holes in the doors for hooks is not allowed. This allows me to organize my stuff I need to grab on the way out the door or have handy to grab when I need it.

• How accurate was the sizing? Fine -- standard door size, as long as there is enough clearance to shut the door with the hook on. Works on bathroom, bedroom, closet doors just fine.

• Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? No, but the shipping package was damaged. Should refrain from using USPS soft packaging and use box instead. I was lucky the items weren't destroyed as the envelope was shredded.

I would not buy this. It is a great concept executed with the cheapese plastic money can buy.
