  • Questionable Claims?

    Aug 1, 2014

remlig  from Virginia Beach, Va, Rating:2.0

What you see here is not what you get! "Top Grain Leather" unlike any I've ever seen. This chair doesn't even smell like leather and is likely some kind of synthetic. It's almost funny it would be advertised as such but, buyer beware, at $*** maybe "real" leather is out of the question. The seat has practically no cushion and will require adding a pillow. The adjustable tilt tension in its tightest position is still loose, providing inadequate lumbar support. The seat height adjustment actually works. I should have shipped this back and gotten a real chair.

  • Parts missing.....

    Jul 8, 2014

    haymish  from Chicago, IL, Rating:1.0

I was quite shocked to open the box and learn that many of the parts were missing. For an overstock product, I am shocked. I have always had such great service and products. This was an experience that was displeasing.

  • Nice leather chair, difficult assembly

    Oct 25, 2014

    Najbolji  from Quincy, MA, Rating:4.0

Assembly: I'd recommend having someone around to help you with the tricky parts, namely attaching the arms and the back support. I thought the screws were a bit short to go into the back support through the arms, but then I laid the seat sideways and miraculously the screws went in. Still pain in the butt to screw them in. Overall, the chair is very sturdy and it seems like a good quality. There is no reason to buy a more expensive one, as this one works and feels just fine.

This is a nice leather chair for the money. It snaps together without tools but it took effort. My adult son struggled with it for quite a while trying to get the chair to lock in place. Once he did, the chair was very nice.

  • Comfortable and Big

    Oct 16, 2014

kimberly245  from Corpus Christi, TX, Rating:4.0

First off, the chair arrived in 2 pieces; not fully assembled as stated. It seems high quality, though I can't comment on durability as I have only had it for several weeks. The pillow-back is "bigger" than I anticipated, which makes it comfortable, but I'm not sure I like the look of it. But I figure clients can't see that part when I am sitting in it anyway, so I've opted to keep it. The odd thing about the chair is that it "sheds" little wood chips out of one of the drilled holes on the bottom of the seat. Just a bit here and there, and I remedied it by putting a piece of duct tape over the hole, but that shouldn't happen with a high=quality chair.
