Chair is solid and well made. It provides ergonomic, comfortable seating for extended computer use. Assembly isn't difficult but does take a few minutes to scope out since instructions are not well designed or instructive.

I would expect the comfort level of an ergonomic chair to be a lot better than this. We bought 20 for our entire office and no one is really all that impressed. The downward slant of the seat cushion forces you to sit in an upright position (obviously great for your posture) but it makes it difficult to rest against the back. Assembly also takes 25-30minutes per chair.

This chair is great. So great I bought this second one for my husband. We both are having back issues. We literally live in these chairs. Perfect adjustments and support. I just had back surgery, 6 weeks ago. My husband was bodily hit by a dump truck in April. Thank God he doesn't require surgery but he is suffering from post traumatic stress in his back and has a lot of soft tissue injuries. Since we both are self employed we must continue to work..... This chair provides the comfort and support we both needed. The price is remarkable.

Just purchased 4 of these chairs to replace existing chairs in the offices of our small business. The staff loves these chairs and finds them very comfortable and useful. A good value for the price. The Ergo mechanism is very heavy creating some difficulty in assembly but it went well and they seem sturdy.

Great chair, very comfortable and good lower back support. Has helped ease my sciatica and lower back pain while sitting. A little bit tricky to put together if you are impatient like me

I really love this chair, a bit of a pain to put together like others have mentioned, but it has lots of adjustments and gets the job done!

I was a little skeptical when ordering this chair. The chair had received rave reviews, yet was about 33% of the price of a "nice" chair. I was afraid the chair would be very flimsy or poorly designed. Went together in about 15 minutes. Seems very solidly constructed. No drawbacks noted at this time. I've been using it daily for about a month. Very comfortable.

The Ergo Value Mesh Medium Back Task Chair lives up to its name--it is comfortable and was affordable. Although the assembly instructions could have been clearer (like, maybe they could have included words?!), I managed to put the chair together rather effortlessly. I should state that I am not mechanically inclined. Just use common sense when at a fork in the road. I love the chair, HOWEVER, thanks to wherever it was stored for who knows how long, it has a water drenched mildew smell that won't go away! I have tried vinegar, and other home remedies, but the smell still exists, one month later...I thought it was just the cardboard so I kept assembling the chair, only to discover the stink had permeated the chair as well. So, I welcome any suggestions as to how to get rid of this water damaged smell. Until then, I hold my nose and appreciate the comfort and affordability of my chair!

I did lot's of research to find an ergonomic chair for use at home while telecommuting. Most chairs were well over $500 and not very comfortable. I was amazed at the quality of the chair and the lumbar support this chair offers for the price. It has a very comfortable wide seat that contours to your bottom and the back of the chair comes down far enough to offer the lumbar support needed to work comfortably. There are various handles for adjusting it, which many of the lower priced chairs just didn't have. The arm height adjusts as well, with wide contoured arm rests so your arms are comfortable & at the right level to keep from straining the shoulder and wrists. If you sit for 8 hrs a day you need to be able to adjust the chair to your body and how you work and this one allows for that. Overall the chair is very sturdy. Amazing price at Overstock for this quality of chair.

I looked long and hard for a desk chair that would help me eliminate back pain and fatigue while I worked at my desk. So far this chair has been exactly what I needed. Great chair.

Easy assembly, even without the instructions (which were not great), and good value for the money. It is a comfortable chair and I would recommend it.

A friend assembled it fairly easily. I think it's a good basic chair, reasonably priced. I am having some trouble with the seat tilt mechanism, which seems to be a problem shared with other chairs I've tried. Maybe someone has a suggestion.
