My printer (Epson Workforce 845) ran out of Cyan ink, so I used one of the new blue cartridges. However, the printer was not able to recognize the cartridge. After several days of troubleshooting I called Epson and was told that cartridges that are NOT actual Epson products sometimes get rejected. I've used cartridges from Overstock before and they seem to work fine. I replaced the Cyan with an "Authorized" Epson cartridge and my printer works again. The Magenta started showing the same "cartridge not recognized" message and I replaced it with an Overstock pink and so far so good. I do however have all colors in EPSON brand just in case it starts rejecting it again. Still I wonder if I can get refunded for the ones that won't work since I bought a large variety pack.
My printer (Epson Workforce 845) ran out of yellow ink, so I used one of the new yellow cartridges from this pack. However, the printer was not able to recognize the cartridge. I reinstalled several times to make sure it wasn't my error. No go. So I open the second yellow cartridge from this pack and it too can't be recognized by the printer. I have not tried the magenta, cyan, or black from this pack yet but given that the first two cartridges were duds, I'm not hopeful. I will try to send these back as I believe the chip on the cartridges are defective and can't be recognized by the printer.
