Very surprised when I received the Chair mat rolled up and then, it was mad from slats of bamboo wood. Easy to store when not in use. Chairs glide over mat without difficulty. Would buy again.

Looks very nice. Chair slides nicely. It certainly is nicer than all of the plastic mats which I have had to replace after a around 4 years. It sits flat and my desk chair with 5 plastic rollers moves just right. Only time will tell if this mat lasts longer or if it comes apart at the seems. I had spoken with a factory rep who told me to buy an 8mm thick mat rather than the more common 5mm mat since it sits on home carpet which isn't overly thick, but is thicker than the customary commercial carpet which is considerably thinner. The one disappointment is that the mat has only a 30 day limited warranty which is the shortest I've ever encountered. And if you did have a warranty claim, you would have to pay all shipping and handling fees. Overall, the warranty is not very consumer friendly. However, I did a lot of research online, and would still take my chances again.
