It provides a smooth rolling surface for your office chair and works with both low-pile carpet and hard floor surfaces.- Multiple bamboo slats are 4 inches wide x 0.33-inch thick
- Finished with seven coats of premium eco preferable UV-cured polyurethane coating for ultimate protection

LOVE This! I highly recommend this item. It is heavy and durable. It is made of individual planks of wood and can be rolled up. It looks like a real hardwood floor. Gorgeous in photographs (using as a floor drop).

It's composite bamboo, not genuine solid bamboo The planks are made of bamboo fibers. They are not solid bamboo pieces. One of them is cracked longitudinally. I took a picture and sent to Overstock, and received discount on the item. This particular product is relatively large and quite heavy. I did not want to rolled it up and ship it back to Overstock. I now use it in my unfinished basement placed in front of clothes washer and dryer.
