Everyone needs scissors ! I like to carry a pair in both cars and I like a pair in the kitchen, den and bedroom drawers. These are good basic scissors which cut well and serve the purpose.....These are good enough to cut out clothing labels or shorten a pair of jeans. If you're working with fine thread clothing, I'd buy something more special. Otherwise, very happy to have these around the house.
