I have been using this for over a year now and wanted to share my experience. This was easy to assemble when it came in and also looked in my study. But after a prolonged use it gave me Tendonitis. Wrist hurts like hell, not sure what it is. After spending close to $XX, now I have to throw it away. I even bought a new chair thinking that was the issue. I'm a petite woman (about 5.3) and weigh about 125 lbs. My husband who is around 5.7 also tried it for few days and it gave him elbow pain. Not sure what is, but don't buy this.
This stand is ok. It doesn't feel too flimsy, but it doesn't feel very strong either. Also, the pre-drilled and pre-tapped holes in the legs, designed to screw in the pedestal and back were slightly "obscured" by the outer surface of the legs - meaning though the hole was in the right place, the screw would not go in because the screw-hole was obscured. Fortunately, I had the tools to remove the necessary material from the opening and properly expose the screw hole. The shipping box provided minimal protection and the sheer weight of the desktops completely smashed the small Styrofoam pieces used to protect the corners. This allowed ALL the parts to move around inside the box enough to marr and abrade the desktop corners AND ...
