Great looking desk, but be aware it is actually a 'shell'. This means the opposite side is wide open without any drawers or compartments. The holes for the storage accessories are pre-drilled in the desk if you want to buy them separately. I actually looked hard for a desk that was wide open in order to accommodate for my wheelchair. I then bought a wood end table from Target that was on wheels and had 2 drawers. I used that for storage and placed my printer on top. Since the desk is so large, you can roll it underneath and out of sight when not in use. The desk has great 'curb appeal' in the home. My office opens up to the living room and the bowed design gives quality look. Desk looks as it should have cost a lot of money. Must be delivered by truck freight and is HEAVY. It comes in 4-pieces and relatively easy to put together, but you will need 2 people due to the weight. The top surface is huge and solid wood. It also has the cord feeds on both corners to hide cords underneath. Excellent Desk.

I was able to purchase this Regency desk when it was on sale from Overstock. I believe it was a 2-3 day sale (red tag) and I got it for $$$! And yet it is still a good deal at $$$. The shipping was fast as always with Overstock. I received the desk packed well from the manufacturer and a decent amount of packaging in the outer box. As I began removing all the items out of the box I was shocked to see one of the glass panels shattered into a million pieces. (Most likely happened during shipment.) I phoned Overstock and the very nice customer service rep looked up my info, made sure she had the right part number and informed me they'd ship out another panel within 2 business days! I was relieved I didn't have to deal with the shipping company or have to sent the entire unit back to Overstock. Anyway the replacement top arrived today and I couldn't be happier. The desk itself is everything I wanted. The look is very contemporary and modern with a minimalist feel. I did not want another fake-wood, laminate/particle board desk you find at Walmart. And if you want to go solid wood, look to spend $500-1000. The instructions were clear and easy, and I was able to put everything together with no help. If I had to give one criticism I would like to see a studier drawer and slide-out tray. But as these are optional you can choose to leave them off all together.

We ordered 3 of the Aberdeen Laminate Cherry Storage Cabinets. They came quite quickly and the delivery person helped my husband bring them into the house. All I can say is they are stunning. The color and alignment of all 3 were perfect. This was important since we have them filling one whole wall in our office and they are side by side. The are spacious, good looking and well constructed. Our new flat screen tv looks great over them. LOVE>>>LOVE>>>LOVE Overstock.com

This took a long time to assemble and one piece came badly scratched. The color is a little more peachy than I like.

This is a handy little laptop table that's really easy to assemble -- it just takes a few minutes. I got the Anthracite finish, which is a dark grey with light grey speckle. (If you plan to spend a lot of time lying on the floor underneath the table, you should know that the Anthracite table is NOT grey underneath -- it has a laminated woodgrain finish on the underside which will show if you have the main platform tilted all the way. NBD for me because I bought this more for function than form -- and I'm not planning on using it in the "public" areas of my home, but this might bother someone else.) The tilt feature on the main platform is nice (and secure), plus there are rails on both the front and back edges to keep your laptop from sliding off (especially if you've managed to lose the little rubber "feet" on your laptop like I always do!) Having the rails on both sides means you can use the table facing left or right as needed, because the tilt extends in both directions as well. I have a 17-in laptop and the main platform holds it with room to spare. (I use my laptop on top of a cooling fan platform which raises it up about 1-in. I've found that the first tilt setting on the table, about 30-degrees, is most comfortable. The rail holds the cooling fan platform in place, and the rubber feet on top of my cooling fan platform -- which I Gorilla Glued in place -- keep my laptop from moving.) The smaller mouse tray does not tilt, but I can't see why you'd need it to. It's adequately sized for a peripheral mouse, copy holder, supplies, or the snack and beverage I'm probably going to spill on my keyboard in a few minutes. I had two small problems during assembly -- the bolt assembly for the tilt mechanism was stripped, and there was a scrape in the finish on top of one of the leg pieces (that I didn't find until I had unpacked everything). The scrape was clearly a mfr defect and not shipping damage, because the package had arrived in perfect shape and all the parts were packaged quite well. I decided I could live with the scrape, but I needed the bolt, so I called the mfr's 800# on the front of the assembly instructions where it said "If you have any questions about assembly." I got through to a very nice woman -- in this country -- right away, and she sent me out a new bolt assembly (she just needed to know the Fedex/UPS shipping confirmation # from my original order, and I didn't even have to give her my shipping info because she already had it from dropshipping for Overstock). I decided to mention the scraped foot too, and she was kind enough to send me a new one. I got the new parts in about 5 days and they were perfect! Overall this is a nice little laptop table and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I was really impressed by this desk...the end result is sturdy & has a fairly small footprint. first the shipping material was high quality, no gashes on the desk from rough handling. the anthracite pattern was more attractive in person and the coloring seemed to be of high quality, not some cheap laminating. a few issues for you to consider- 1) this sits a lot lower to the ground than my previous desk so be aware of that. 2) assembly was a bit tricky...parts are heavier than say something from ikea and a few of the parts look almost identical to others making for a few frustrating moments....have a friend spot you if possible. 3) the mousepad area is rather small, check the dimensions and determine if that is big enough for you...I have to place a larger steel mousepad over it and run into balance issues! overall, I'm satisfied!

I wanted a solid, dark wood-looking desk and this one is perfect. I use this desk at home and it fits my needs perfectly. I have plans later on to finish my office setup and plan to purchase the credenza that goes with the desk to make the L shape out of my desk. Assembling was easy. It didn't take me too long and I could assemble it by myself. As for quality ... it is very durable. After a year of use and in a home with 4 kids and a dog, the desk has no nicks or scratches ... this is due to the laminate and solid quality of the materials.

the 1 5/8 thick top is very heavy and sturdy and the detailed edge looks very nice. i am glad i picked 36" deep conference style which has some knee space so that i can share the table with my hasband at the otherside. it's very straightward to assemble but since it's heavy it's two person's job. make sure you screw the cam post using screw driver not just by hand because the other end is an anchor. it will expand and make it very sturdy.the only DRAWBACK is the laminate surface is very very easy to leave a finger print. but it's easy to wipe off too.

While I love the look of this desk - it has no drawers at all. No place to put pens/pencils, no file drawer, etc. The description says nothing about this being a shell only. It seemed pretty easy to put together, but the top is VERY heavy. Not a 1 person job.
