I am very satisfied with the desk. Quick shipping and easy assembly. It has a modern style, but is sturdy. I chose this desk because it has a hutch and a wide workspace.

Just like other posters, we received our desk, hutch, credenza and file and all but file cabinet had damage on corners. Company seemed helpful, just waiting on replacement parts.

This desk unit was purchased for my small business along with a second desk only. My husband and I were able to put both desk and credenza/hutch together in about 5 hours. The instructions are simple and the only thing that took extra time were the hinges on the doors of the hutch. I think the desks are very rich and beautiful, well constructed, easy to assemble, and well worth the price. I know I could have put it together by myself until lifting the hutch up onto the credenza. This is a very heavy piece of furniture. They were delivered in a reasonable amount of time, approx. 1 week. I only have one thing I did not take into consideration when I made my choice: they do not have drawers in the desk unit. I was able to remedy this by ordering under desk 3 drawer file cabinets from overstock. I am very happy with my purchases.

This desk is absolutely beautiful. I am single 52 year old female, 125 lbs and I was able to put this together myself. It's very heavy so you will need help putting the hutch up on the desk. Well worth the money, - I am very pleased.

I was surprised that the desk had the quality that we have at our office. This works great for a clean looking space. Solid supports and desk top is very supportive. If I could upload a photo with it setup in our environment I would. I also bought the hutch that matches. erfect for home use or office use

Delivery charges and physical delivery of product was great, no issues and delivered in 2 days as web site stated. Product was a little darker than I expected, but for the value compared to other desks out there, its fine. Quality is top notch, heavy though, need 2 people to install. Hutch is not designed to be securely attached to desk. Hutch slid off when moving desk against wall, which caused 1 screw to rip out part of the wood. Clued ripped piece back in place and used left over attachement brackets to attach Hutch to desktop. Plenty of space to work on and spread out paperwork and 2 computers. Highly recommend this desk, but either have someone else assemble it or you will need 2 people to assemble it and move it around; recommend attaching hutch to desktop to avoid hutch sliding off desktop. Now I need to buy a 2 file drawer for the other side of the desk.

We purchased this item to fill our office space in our new home. It was delivered very quickly. I was able to assemble most of the unit by myself, but it does take some effort to do so. Two people for assembly is definitely the way to go. You will need two people to place hutch on the rear desk. There was no hardware to secure the hutch to the desk. This was easily remedied by flattening out two spare corner braces and screwing the two pieces together. This desk gives me all the room I need to work and looks great. I found the assembly to be straight forward. It took me about 5 hours, working alone. For the price, this is an excellent desk.

This is a beautiful desk/hutch. It is very large. I have it in my home office and simply love it. Although takes up most of the room it gives me a lot of room to spread out my work. I am very happy.

Finished workstation looks great. Drawers not lining up so well, will use something else. Cord slot perfect for adjusting along hutch/desk while still covering access. Handles cheesy, will replace. Otherwise, he loves it!

The desk is very good as a work desk. The pullout keyboard tray was missing but O immediately corrected the mistake. Only thing that I find somewhat defective is the aligning of the cabinets on the hutch are off. You would have to eyeball when installing b/c the holes on the wood/s are not accurate on how it should be installed.

This desk arrived shortly after ordering. Extra "nuts and bolts" were included, always a nice thing. This desk is very heavy and well built. The directions are okay for a handy person, but the doors on the hutch can be a little tricky. As I said the desk is very heavy so make sure you have help putting it together. I put this desk in a very large office....don't buy this if you don't have a very large area. This desk is massive!! Great value, I couldn't be happier.

This desk was a lot of pieces, like a lot. With the hutch, the desk overall took about 3 or so hours to build. There are no scratches, a lot of storage, and the cabinets on top slide and don't open out with hinges like normal desks which is very nice. The panel to run your wires through I thought was small but you can take one part of it off, run your big wires, then bend the rubber part on it, then put it back on. Overall, this is the best desk I have ever owned.

This desk and hutch piece was purchased for the reception area of my law firm. It is an attractive and sturdy piece that meets the requirement I had without feeling too stuffy. The lines are very clean and the color is a nice cherry. It is bigger than I expected it to be; however, that was my error. I am very satisfied with this piece and expect that I will have it for years to come.

There are a lot of pieces so you have to be very careful that you follow the pictures explicitly. Some of the work definitely requires two people because the sections are heavy and they have to be held while the other person assembles it. I am very happy with the desk and hutch. I also ordered the tech file cabinet (from another source because Overstock didn't have it) and it matched perfectly. Overstock had the best price on this and their delivery was great.

We ordered this last year for my husband's new home office. The boxes were heavy! We called the company in advance and advised that we would be unable to help unload due to physical inabilities on our parts and the truck driver delivered them indoors. After being in place for a year, it still looks very professional, the peninsula is a definite favorite with others since they can pull chairs up and work with enough leg room, and desk surface. The hutch is imposing, filing cabinet strangely is suspended from the top and attached on one side, so it gives clearance underneath too. Glass doors look chic, and the metal accents add to the look. The cherry color is pretty, and elegant, suitable for a home office setting. Keep in mind, this baby takes several days and planning to assemble. One or two pieces are definitely awkward to assemble and place. We have the set with the hutch, and although I rate myself as an expert in self-assembled furniture, I had to find room to spread out all parts correctly, and have help at hand to move, lift and place some pieces. According to the instructions, you need to have the whole desk (C-shaped) in place, before you can place the hutch on top, and then how do you attach the hutch to the desk from the back at the desk level, when they are both up against the wall? I ended up securing the hutch to the wall only at the top with my own hardware, and the hutch (it has non-skid foam strips at the bottom) is just sitting on the desk, so it makes me wonder how it was meant to be done? Also, the center back panel in the middle of the "C" shape has no holes for its placement between the two parallel pieces. So you have to hold up the (heavy) panel while you mark & drill fresh holes for the screws that fasten the hardware. Until that is done, the top cannot be secured, since it rests on the back panel. With the center part, all brackets are a chicken and egg story, for the back as well as the desk surface. One negative - the surface can scratch very easily, a dropped stapler or similar weight dragged across in error cost us the surface immediately. Within 2-3 days of use, we placed a desk pad and such protective pieces all over. A glass top for the surfaces would be ideal.

It was a little difficult to assemble but otherwise it has met almost every expectation that I had. I was able to do most of the assembly myself but did have to help actually putting all the pieces together. We did have issues putting the doors on the hutch & ended up only putting the center 2 and leaving the outer 2 open for display. I am actually glad it worked out this way as I was able to display some of my favorite items. The drawer pedestal was a time consuming item to put together as the instructions were not very good and a little confusing. We did purchase an additional pedestal through another site so we could have extra storage. And it did across the pedestal in the picture. Another thing we did was reverse the two desks. We put the larger desk under the hutch so that I would have more workspace that was out of the way of our customers. There are a few different ways to set up the workstation. Delivery was about 2 weeks.

I ordered this desk knowing it had no shelves or hutch. I had several wall units already, and wanted a desk that would be massive and attractive to fill up a large office upon my home's entrance. The desk came in several boxes within a week! My husband put it together, the drawer/file box can go wherever you want. There is plenty of space under the unit to hide low shelving. I love it! It has accomplished what I intended. This one is not cherry, but a darker wood color. It shows prints quite readily, but windex can take care of that. The finish looks and is very durable.

Got our desk about 10 days after order was placed. The parts came in 3 boxes and the instructions were clear. It took my husband a couple of hours to put it together, with my help sometimes. It was that big that we decided to skip the bridge and split the piece in 2 desks. I have 1 table, hutch and filing cabinet in use as a regular desk on one end of the room, the other table, which s bigger i am using to work on my scrapbooking., i got 2 or 1 and i am very happy with it.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase. The desk has a very large work space. The storage is a little lacking with only three drawers, but that is evident from the description. I bought a computer keyboard tray and installed it myself. The hutch is moveable, which is great because I had to place it on the "bridge" portion of the desk due to my office configuration. It took a little over 5 hours to put this monster together, but it was relatively easy. We didn't have any instances where we didn't understand the instructions or were missing parts.

received this office module within 3 days of ordering and am completely tickled pick. it completes the furnishing of my new house and looks beautiful. the set is solid and true to the picture in color and appearance. as instructions recommend - definately use 2 people for assembling - especially when lifting the hutch onto the desk, it is very heavy. assembly took only 4 hours for all 5 pieces, with the hutch taking most of the time. the instructions are very sketchy, leaving many questions unless you are able to picture the set assembled. watch the hardware for the hinges on the doors - we ended up scratching our head for about 20 minutes when the doors wouldnt line up properly. after examining the hinges again - the 2 outside hinges and the 2 inside hinges are definately different - but the instructions didnt indicate that. we assembled one piece at a time in another room, then placed it exactly where it needed to be in the office, and we attached the desk and the credenza last after all other parts were placed. get your computer and other items in place and wired up before moving this set to the wall. this set is definately heavy and you will not be able to move it around after it is assembled. i opted to reverse the desk and the credenza and put the hutch on the desk which leaves much more room for the computer equipment, as this is in a home office. it is one gorgeous set and for 4 hours worth of assembly, it is DEFINATELY worth the savings. you would spend over $4,000 for a set like this in a furniture store.
