  • okay for the price

This took a long time to assemble and one piece came badly scratched. The color is a little more peachy than I like.

Super easy assembly. Best price was offered by Overstock. We didn't install the second bank of drawers to leave more leg/chair room under the desk. Drawers are made well, too. Not flimsy.

    Huge, modern desk

    Mar 4, 2015

You need a modern space to pull this off. But I'm very pleased with the space it provides me to work and it's a nice unique contemporary look for my home office. Just beware, it's really big.

  • Great Addition to Mayline Desk

    Nov 6, 2014

    Olamide  from Madison, WI, Rating:4.0

This is an excellent addition to any Mayline Brighton desk or credenza... the 48 inch return really expands your desk space. I am extremely happy with my purchase. I only knocked off one star because it is not 100% compatible with my Brighton 36" rectangular desk. The Return has brackets to attach to the desk via the modesty panel and the underside of the desk. The brackets on the modest panel fit perfectly, but the underside brackets do NOT. They are short by about a half inch to the screw holes underneath the desk. I called Mayline and they said that the underside brackets are incompatible... so I just used the screws to drill holes underneath my desk where the brackets did reach and that worked perfectly.

  • It desks. It sit/stands.

    Feb 19, 2015

    Thomas H. Rating:5.0

The desk took a while to setup, but you can tell that it is well-crafted and very sturdy/rugged. The instructions were easy enough to follow. Took about 1.5 hours for full assembly. Pros: I was able to use a clamp mount for dual monitor use, and still have plenty of room to place other devices and operate without any space constraints. Being able to roll it in place is a plus; other sit/stand workstations that I've used did not have casters and were hard to maneuver due to weight. Cons: The desktop itself is thinner than I imagined, so I won't be attaching a keyboard mount to the bottom-side. The crank moves the desk up/down at very small intervals, so it takes about 10-15 cranks to move it to standing height. Lack of cable management makes this slightly less useful, but I have been able to deal with it using monitor attachment and cloth zip-ties.
